Wisconsin’s Green Fire: Voices for Conservation is a new organization dedicated to connecting the public, media, and legislators to science and promoting conservation in Wisconsin. WGF focuses on the difference between public policy analysis and politics and promotes science advocacy. Founding member Terry Daulton will discuss the group’s evolution as well as the many conservation issues that Wisconsin’s Green Fire has been following in the past year.  This event is part of the Mercer Library’s participation in the Aldo Leopold Foundation’s Aldo Leopold Week in Wisconsin – https://www.aldoleopold.org/event/leopold-week-weekend-2018/ This program is free and open to all, and light refreshments will be served.
