All ATV Trails in Iron
County are open except for a portion of trail 8 that runs from the east
side of hwy 51/trail 17 down to county G. This
trail is closed due to a landowner change and wetland conditions.
It will remain closed permanently for ATVs only. This is the only

Trails
in the Mercer area are all in excellent riding condition and all trails
are being groomed on a regular basis.
Please
remember to watch postings and stay on the marked trails. Iron County
has opened up county land for off trail riding known as boondocking but
it is necessary to know where you are to protect private property. Maps
are available upon request.
Join the Mercer Sno-Goers on February 13 at Gateway
Lodge for an all you can eat breakfast from 8AM-11AM.
