Mercer Sno-Goers

All grooming operations have been suspended.

The season is coming to an end, conditions range from poor, road routes, main corridors, trails exposed by the sun to fair to good in the woods.

If you want to ride you still can, our trails are late season riding condition. Biggest question, will the trails be open this weekend? Answer to your question is we don't know yet, still plan your trip and visit our business sponsors by car if the trails do close.

MECCA Trails

Spring weather conditions are upon us which have created icy conditions throughout the MECCA Trail System. The Mercer area weather calls for moderating daytime temperatures above freezing with some rain and no significant snow in the ten day forecast. Because of these factors the chalet will be closed for the season and no grooming will be scheduled. However, if a significant storm delivers enough snow to groom followed by cold temperatures the club will reevaluate opening the chalet.

It's been a great ski and snowshoe season at MECCA Trails; early skiable snow, successful Winterfest Ski Race and Candlelight Ski/Hike events; and solid attendance with local and regional support. The grooming team recorded 80 days of grooming for the season. Thanks for your support!

Winman Trails

ALL TRAILS OPEN ✅

Current Condition:

Groomers are out again this morning freshening up the skate lanes with the power tiller to help break up a top layer of ice. Coverage remains great, the base is firm, and you’ll find a softening layer on top as temps rise throughout the day.

Planned Grooming/Maintenance:

We will be remaining in this freeze-thaw cycle until early next week. The crew will be monitoring conditions daily and adjusting as needed to provide the best experience possible. We still have a strong base across the system.

Fat Bike Trails

CLOSED ❌ after 12:00pm

Current Condition:

Trails will be closing at 12:00 today due to warm temps. Conditions are icy this morning, studs are recommended.

For the best experience and to help protect the trails, please plan to run low tire pressure in the 3–5 PSI range. A digital air gauge is available in the chalet to help you dial it in.

Groomers will be monitoring conditions to determine next grooming session.

Snowshoe Trails

ALL TRAILS OPEN ✅

Current Condition:

Beware of icy conditions this morning and soft conditions this afternoon.

Start from the main trailhead or the Papoose Lake Road parking lot to customize your adventure.

No snowshoes? No problem. Adult and kid sized snowshoes and poles are available to borrow for free in the chalet at the main trailhead. First come, first served.

Sledding Hill
