This two-story home sits less than a mile from the heart of small-town Mercer, right between Echo and Grand Portage Lakes. It’s an area that’s wonderful for fishing, cycling, kayaking, ATVing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. Carow Park is around the corner, offering a swimming beach on Grand Portage Lake, a playground, baseball fields, a picnic area, and annual events ranging from the Fourth of July Celebration to the Lions Ice Fishing Jamboree.

Inside, the house is open and spacious, with a wood-burning fireplace greeting you as you step through the door. Enjoy an enormous sectional with room for the entire family, a smart TV for cozy movie nights, and a dining area for homemade meals and after-dinner board games. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with every essential, including stainless steel appliances and a prep island.

At night, leave the day’s clothes to spin in the washer/dryer, log onto the high-speed WiFi to send a few emails, and retreat downstairs for games and DVDs in the den. Of the bedrooms, three are on the main floor (including a primary bedroom with a TV) and two are downstairs.
