Come play with us as we dive into basic skills of outdoor living helping everyone feel safer and more connected to  the world outdoors. Join outdoor survival enthusiast and expert Mark Zanoni for this active day that will cover basic  skills of outdoor living and survival and will include: finding and preparing natural rope and cordage, building  efficient, smokeless fires, building comfortable and adaptable simple shelters to keep you dry and warm without a  tent, tarp or sleeping bag, utilitarian plants and trees and how to identify them, basics of primitive fire building,  natural bowls, spoons and tools, etc. We will also cover basic nature awareness and listening skills—skills everyone  needs to know to feel a part and aware of the natural world. This is a great family program with kids aged 12+.  Come play and explore with us! Participants should bring water, lunch and dress to be outdoors.
