Calling all tractor collectors – bring your old tired irons to show off at our Annual Antique Tractor Show at the Iron County Farmers Market on Saturday, July 28th. It’s Farm Heritage Day at the market, and you’re invited to share your cool old tractors and other old farm equipment with us! Every summer we celebrate the heritage of our area farms during the Iron County Heritage Days and people love visiting with the farmers and hearing stories about the good old days on the farm. You don’t have to be a farmer to share your tractors and stories, so come on down.

We be grilling up some locally grown meats for our farm style picnic! Be sure to come hungry and enjoy a brat or hot dog, with potato salad, and pickle, made with fresh locally grown foods.  Dessert, coffee and lemonade also available.

After visiting the market, you could enter your old tractor in the Iron County Heritage Day Parade through downtown Hurley. The parade begin at 2:00 pm and is just a short drive from the market, just be sure to contact the Hurley Chamber to pre-register for the parade. For more information about our tractor show, please contact Deb Swartz at 715-893-2485 or email us at ironcountyfarmersmarket@gmail.com

Although pre-registration is not required for the tractor show, we would appreciate a call to let us know that you are coming and what you are bringing. There’s plenty of parking available at the market to haul your tractor to the market, or drive it, if you live close by. The market is located on 10th Avenue north, the gravel road going north from Highway 51, by Chippewa Valley Bank. We are open every Saturday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm and Wednesday from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Our vendors offer in season fruits and vegetables, meats, honey, maple syrup, jams & jellies, breads and bakery, fresh eggs, and a variety of artisan crafts. All products are produced locally by the seller. We have family friendly activities every Saturday and most Wednesdays at the Iron County Farmers Market.
