Dianne Mockler is back to teach the “Snack Attack” basket. Super Bowl party snacks taste even better in a basket you created!

Learn traditional basket weaving techniques, including laying out a base, weaving up the sides, rimming and lashing. A unique opening on the corners of this basket create space for a bandanna to be used as a liner. You’ll leave class with a completed basket, ready for staining and entertaining! A variety of bandannas and coordinating dyed reed will be available to choose from. Size: Approximately 10 inches square and 5 inches tall.

Long time basket weaver Dianne Mockler calls the Northwoods home and shares her love of basket weaving by teaching throughout the area. She especially enjoys working with beginners because they are amazed at what they can accomplish with just one class.

Should weather conditions be unkind, and class needs to be canceled, the alternate date will be Saturday, January 25, 10 – 4 pm. Students will be notified if any changes will be made.

Students bring:
OPTIONAL: 22 x 22 sports themed bandana of your choice.
Wear clothes that can get a bit wet.
Bring a bag lunch and an old towel.

No refunds will be given after the deadline date.

Parking is available behind the LOLA Center for the Arts building.

If area school districts close due to weather on the day of a LOLA class, LOLA classes will be canceled for the safety of our students and teachers.  In such an event, LOLA will make all attempts to contact students and rescheduled classes for a later date. Please call the LOLA Office with any questions or concerns.
