As an artist, have you ever tried to create something white? Snow? A rose? A fluffy kitten? To create a lustrous white, an artist must do more than just leave the paper surface free of color. In this Radiant Swan Workshop, we will explore how to break down and balance the prism of color to allow our subjects to glow. With careful attention to technique, this workshop is designed for both experienced artists, as well as those who are just “dipping their toe in the water” of colored pencil art. A small practice project will be created first so everyone can be introduced, or reconnected, with colored pencils. And, so we can spend time on learning technique, a drawing will be provided on white Stonehenge paper. Andria is an experienced teacher, who will guide and encourage students throughout the process. Enjoy the discovery, and art of creating “white” together!
