Deer in the Northwoods – Pastel on Suede Board at LOLA
Join Lisa Krueger as she leads you step-by-step into a day of pastel fun. This painting has the perfect blend of carefree and detailed components. The background is painted freely using darks and lights that give the illusion of sun dancing on the leaves. The deer will be painted at a slow pace ensuring that attention to every detail is given and a beginner can master. A detailed pattern will be used for the deer, making the process an easy one. A quick explanation of how to turn a photo into a painting will help you in creating future art from your own photos.
Never tried pastels? Here’s your chance as all supplies are included. NuPastels are the primary brand of pastel that will be used with the addition of Rembrandt & Sennelier.
