The Mercer Library will host a free knowledge at Noon program sponsored by the North Lakeland Discovery Center. Evolving over 300 million years ago, dragonflies can fly backwards, intercept prey mid-air, see 360 degrees around them, and they live most of their lives underwater. “Discovering Dragonflies” will introduce you to these fascinating creatures and their importance in our environment. The program is free and open to all; donations to the Discovery Center are appreciated.
