Manitowish Waters, WI – Aaarrrggghhh, mateys. Grab your crew, load your boat and set sail for fun at the Float Your Boat Trivia Rally June 23 on the Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes.

Part scavenger hunt, part trivia contest, and part hijinks on the high seas, the Float Your Boat Trivia Rally will test your knowledge of the 10-lake Manitowish Waters Chain, Northwoods ecology, and area history. Float Your Boat is presented by the North Lakeland Discovery Center in partnership with the Manitowish Waters Historical Society. One entry fee covers a boatload –one entry fee of $75 per boat, so create your dream crew and test your maritime and Manitowish Waters knowledge.

Each team will will answer trivia questions, geotag designated locations and snap photos of scavenger-hunt style missions, and find some surprises(!) in order to earn points for the win. Start anytime or anywhere on the chain, as missions will be available between the hours of 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Not sure your crew has the right stuff? Along with highest points, your team can earn style points for the best decorations/themes/costumes and best pictures/videos.

After a day on the lakes, pick up your loot and join the Discovery Center for some grub. An evening BBQ (free with registration, cash bar) and awards takes place at the Discovery Center Main Lodge, 14012 Discovery Lane, Manitowish Waters, with plenty of trailer parking for your boat and crew.
