Did you know a frog can freeze almost completely solid during the winter? Or that frogs will “attack” to protect their territory? Join Wisconsin Master Naturalist Volunteer Ron Krueger as he teaches visual and sound identification, conservation, and weird facts about the dozen different frog species native to the Northwoods. Following Ron’s program, we will head out to Powell Marsh to locate any frogs that are calling this time of year! Includes a Amphibians of Wisconsin book to take home! Register by June 5. Limited space available. $30 ($25 members). Friday, 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM. Please read our program and event registration and cancellation policy here.
