Discover the joy of acrylic painting in this welcoming, beginner-friendly class led by Northwoods artist Sue Schurch. This self-paced workshop invites you to explore color and creativity at your own rhythm—Sue will get you started as soon as you arrive!

Create your own one-of-a-kind painting on wood, featuring a beautiful hydrangea design that Sue has wood-burned in advance. Choose your favorite color palette, settle into a relaxed atmosphere, and enjoy a day of artistic expression.

About the Artist – Sue Schurch

Sue Schurch is the owner of Blossoms Studio in Land O’ Lakes, WI. Working primarily in acrylics and wood burning, she transforms both found objects and new surfaces into art inspired by the North Woods. Sue enjoys painting on barn wood, antique furniture, and other reclaimed treasures.
