It is no secret the Northwoods is rich in water resources. These programs and experiences will get you on local lakes and rivers, educating you on their fascinating link to local history and lore, ecology and importance.

Description

Join NLDC Naturalists for an interpretive paddle on Weber Lake and short hike at Corrigan’s Lookout in Iron County! Sitting at the base of Whitecap Mountain Resort, Weber Lake will give you the opportunity to surround yourself with the onset of fall color while you learn from our Naturalists about the ecology and natural history of the area. After the paddle, we will drive up the road to Corrigan’s Lookout to experience one of the best views in Iron County, overlooking an ancient mountain range with incredible geologic history.

Registration required by 9/18/24.  Transporation will be provided from the Discovery Center. Registered participants will be contacted via email with more information on this program.  $25/Member and $35/Non-Member. Friday 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
