Legal Assistance with Judicare at the Library

Judicare Legal Aid will be providing brief free legal assistance from a Legal Advocate regarding general civil legal matters. This free clinic will be held at the Mercer Public Library on Wednesday, June 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Covered topics may include: Collections Defense, Small Claims Actions, Expungements & Pardons, Housing/Tenant Rights, Employment Discrimination, Unemployment Insurance Benefit Denials, Custody/Placement, Wage Claims, and Divorce. Judicare Legal Aid provides free civil legal services to low-income persons living in Northern Wisconsin and Native Americans statewide. You may be eligible for free legal help through Judicare Legal Aid if you are a *U.S. citizen or lawfully residing in the United States and are any of the following: low income, a victim of a crime, or Native American.
