Learn about ecology from expert naturalists, historians, geologists, and ecologists as you hike down the trail. All ability levels welcome.
Description
Join Wisconsin Master Naturalist Volunteer Cheri Schultz and Jenna Richardson on a mushroom hike on WinMan Trails! Participants will explore the magical realm of mycelium that dwells beneath the forest floor. Together we will identify mushrooms as we encounter them, discuss common species in our neck of the woods, and even try a cup of Chaga mushroom tea after the hike (optional).
An email will be sent to participants in advance with directions to the trailhead and what to bring for the trip. $10/Member and $12/Non-Member. Registration is required by 9/23/24. Wednesday 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
