Description

Join us for an Astronomy Night at the Discovery Center, rain or shine! With your help we will demonstrate the scale of our Solar System, and learn where we are in our Milky Way Galaxy. See 3D prints of Mars as viewed from the Mars Rover Curiosity, and inspect real meteorites from space. If it’s clear we will learn how to identify a few constellations, then observe Jupiter, Saturn, and the moon through telescopes (10″ and 12″ Dobsonians). , Hosted by Jim Head, a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador along with help from the Northwoods Explorers. Facemasks are required for this program. Register by 10/1. $7 ($5 members). Friday, 6 – 8:30pm.
