The Northwoods Wildlife Center will host the 6th Annual Fall Open House on Saturday, October 27th from 1-4pm, located at 8683 S Blumenstein Road, Minocqua.

We have a variety of fun activities planned for the whole family including pumpkin painting and other fall nature crafts, s’mores around the campfire, tasty autumn treats, hot cocoa and cider, even meet some of our education ambassador animals! Find out about all the new projects, get a rare behind-the-scenes tour of how the Northwoods Wildlife Center staff and volunteers care for hundreds of wildlife patients each year. Have a wildlife costume? Wear it for a chance at a special prize!

The Northwoods Wildlife Center was established in 1979 by the late Dr. Rory Foster of the Northwoods Animal Hospital. For 39 years, his vision has grown to one of the largest and oldest wildlife rehabilitation and education centers in Wisconsin.

Recommended $5 donation per person goes towards Northwoods Wildlife Center’s mission to provide a better future for wildlife through rehabilitation, education, and research. For more information on Open House activities, call the center at (715)356-7400.
