Join local historian Jim Bokern, geologist Mike Porter, and a Discovery Center Naturalist on a fascinating hike through history and geology in the Plum Lake Hemlocks Forest State Natural Area. We will explore the Milwaukee Road Railroad, state leased land and the people that lived in this area over a century ago and walk in their footsteps. This is an off trail, moderately strenuous 4-5 mile hike with one wetland crossing.

Bring lunch and water!  Registered participants will receive an email with more information prior to the hike.  Pre-registration is required by 4/26.  Friday 10:30 am – 5:00 pm.  $45/Member of NLDC or MWHS and $55/Non-Member
