Description

Come for an evening of fun where you’ll be introduced to several different printmaking techniques. It will be a printmaking smorgasbord of sorts! Artist Darcy Lanz-Sage will guide us as we carve a small piece of rubber; impress a design into thin print foam, using a pen; heat a really cool material called Penscore with an embossing gun and then press it into some sort of texture to make a unique stamp; experiment with a small jelly plate; and if time permits, Darcy will show participants even more printmaking methods! A light snack will be provided during the program, however you are welcome to bring snacks or dinner to indulge on.

The Discovery Center will have a donation bar available if you’d like to “sip” while you print!  Registration required by 10/26/24.   We will meet in the Forest Room on campus in our Nature Hall at the Discovery Center.  Monday 4 PM – 8 PM.  $50/Non-Member and $45/Member.
