Summer Reading Program: Tie-Dye

July 29, 2019 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Close out the Mercer Library’s summer reading program with our annual tie-dye activity. All ages are welcome, including adults. Kids under 5 may need the help of an older child or adult. Wear old clothes and shoes!

The library will provide one t-shirt per person, while supplies last, and all the dye supplies. Participants are welcome to bring additional shirts or other items to dye, but make sure they are 100% natural fibers (cotton, wool, bamboo, silk, etc.). The fiber-reactive dyes we use will not dye synthetic fibers including polyester.

This activity takes place outdoors. In case of severe weather, join us on August 5 instead.

This program is free and open to all. For more information, call the library at 715-476-2366.
