Tinkergarten Class presented by Adriane Morabito
Northwoods Wildlife Center is happy to be partnering with Tinkergarten Leader Adriane Morabito to help local families find a deeper connection with our Wisconsin outdoors!
Every Monday this winter, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. In a 5-part class each week, Adriane will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we’ll share insight into your child’s development.
The program progresses to meet each child’s needs season after season. This winter, the curriculum for 18 months-5 years will support the development of a range of cognitive, social/emotional and physical skills. Our focus skill area for the season will be Wellness. We will learn together about how nature and play support both physical and emotional wellness—and why both are so essential to kids being ready to learn, ready to thrive and ready for anything.
