Violin/Viola player Beth Hassler is now offering music lessons at LOLA from beginners to pre-professional, all abilities & people with disabilities. Hassler will teach beginning music in the Suzuki Method to all ages. For students returning to the instruments or desiring advanced skills, brush-up, preparing for a performance or audition, or playing as a passion – Bornoff, Rolland, O’Connor, and other methods will be used.

Lesson Options: 

  • Full Semester – 16 weeks – starting March 5 through June 18
  • Private Lessons – starting March 5 through June 18 – CALL LOLA OFFICE FOR TIME SLOTS

Semester – First come first serve basis for registrations

March 5 – June 18 (16 weeks) EACH Thursday

Deadline for registration is February 27th.

3:30 – 4:00 pm   Ages 5 – 12   – 16 lessons   $240 ea   2 students max in session

4:00 – 4:45 pm   Ages 12 – 17  – 16 lessons   $360 ea    2 students max in session

5:00 – 6:00 pm  Ages 17 – Adult  – 16 lessons   $480 ea    1 student

5:00 – 6:00 pm  Ages 17 – Adult  Group discount – 16 lessons  $800    for a Duo – 2 students working together

6:00 – 7:00 pm  Ages 17 – Adult  – 16 lessons   $480       1 student

6:00 – 7:00 pm  Ages 17 – Adult  Group discount – 16 lessons  $800 for a Duo – 2 students working together

All age groups may include a child & parent learning together or other duos.

PRIVATE Individual lessons:  CALL LOLA FOR TIME SLOTS  

$17.50 per ½ hour lesson – 1 lesson

$26.25 per 45 min lesson – 1 lesson

$35 per hour lesson – 1 lesson

Goal – Students Perform on Sunday, June 21 – Make Music Day – time to be determined

INSTRUCTOR BIO Beth has a Masters of Music degree in viola performance, is a Suzuki method teacher, and has a teaching license for K-12 music education.  For the past 20 years, Beth has played professionally with symphony orchestra experience, chamber music, owned a private teaching studio, and has performed in opera, hip-hop, folk, Celtic and other string groups.  She also continues her own musical education to improve her teaching and playing abilities.  Recently, since moving from Minneapolis, MN to Eagle River, WI, Beth has joined up with local musicians and teaches extensively across the Northwoods.  Beth has the experience, knowledge and passion to create an authentic understanding of how to play your viola or violin.  She works with all levels of experience and abilities to share the joy of making music.
