Join us for Yoga at the Chalet with Suzi from the Manitowish Waters Athletic Club on Sunday, March 3rd from 9am – 10am.
The class fee is a suggested $10 donation. Cash or card is accepted. The class size is limited to 18 people so please message us to reserve your spot and a yoga mat (if needed). This class is for people ages 16+.
Suzi teaches opposing energies (hatha) to balance mind/body via correct alignment in asana, breath, and calming of mind through meditation and relaxation. The class features static poses, to focus on breath and alignment and some flow. The goal is to achieve the relaxation in the asana, to experience a release in stress, improve strength, flexibility, and an increase in mental clarity and focus. All levels welcome.
About Suzi: Suzi Hammer, E-RYT 500, CPT, MA
Suzi has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and has studied under Rod Stryker, Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, Todd Norian and Erich Schiffman. She has traveled to India twice and traveled this year to Bhutan, where she studied and taught yoga. Suzi completed her 500 hour certification training with Mark Stephens in Santa Cruz, CA.
